Each trio consists of two dancers and a visual artist and is the result of a short, intensive time of collaboration. The trios are intended as work-in-progress investigations connected to a specific space. FIND YOURSELF HERE: Trio B - BAC combines my process of creating movement with and for the body in space with Mr. Fabri’s improvisational performance style and his ability to shape events live and on film leading us to work with both the live body in movement and the moving body on film. Trio B - BAC is a clamoring overlap of insistent solos performed by each of the three performers. The haunting nature of the bodies’ isolated trajectories speak to choreography’s ability to address questions similar to those of Fabri, activating the space with a choreographic rendering of the structures that animate contemporary life.
